Online JavaScript Lint

In general, a lint is a great tool which saves hours of debug. It will find the syntax errors for you, and even give you warnings to avoid potential bugs.

I happened to write JavaScript this week, and found a great Online JavaScript Lint.  Use with care ;-)

Ah, and they also have a downloadable version.

Embed a Valid XHTML Twitter Widget

Recently, I decided to embed the flash twitter widget in my blog. In general, I don’t like to use flash because it’s a proprietary format, but looks like it’s becoming a de-facto standard and it’s not easy to cover its functionality with open source alternatives.

Embedding the twitter widget should be easy, just to copy-past a short HTML code, and that’s it.

Use Jemdoc to Create Static HTML Pages

Jemdoc Is a tool (in fact, it’s a python script) that I discovered about a year ago, but had time to test it only recently.  Its purpose is to create a clean and standard compliant HTML pages in a very short time. Its syntax is easy to learn (In fact, I’m not sure that “syntax” is the appropriate word for this, since it’s much simpler than a “regular” syntax).
